Transforming Lives Through Powerful Partnerships

Through ImpactWorks, our Workforce Readiness Program in partnership with the Community College of Beaver County (CCBC), participants embark on a transformative journey guided by the Pillars of Excellence, the foundation of all our programs and initiatives.

Specifically designed for individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability and/or autism, this collaboration offers access to a vibrant, inclusive college environment where participants are empowered to learn, grow, and thrive. The program fosters personal and professional success in settings that promote confidence, independence, and connection.

Participants become active members of CCBC’s welcoming campus community, engaging in experiences that develop resilience and unlock their potential. Through mentoring, hands-on learning, and meaningful opportunities, they gain the skills necessary for career advancement and personal fulfillment.

ImpactWorks bridges the gap between education and employment, delivering a suite of opportunities including job shadowing, internships, vocational training, and mentorships tailored to align with individual strengths and goals. These experiences empower participants to pursue meaningful careers, explore entrepreneurial ventures, and make valuable contributions to their communities.

Beyond individual growth, ImpactWorks drives economic benefits by preparing participants to enter the workforce as skilled, confident contributors. The program creates opportunities for businesses to diversify their teams, benefiting from the talents and perspectives of participants while fostering inclusive workplaces. Communities also gain from the increased economic participation of individuals with disabilities, who actively contribute to local growth and development.

In addition to economic impact, ImpactWorks delivers significant social benefits, fostering inclusion, belonging, and lasting connections. By creating opportunities for participants to engage with peers, mentors, and community members, the program cultivates meaningful relationships that enrich lives and promote social integration. These connections not only enhance participants' confidence and emotional well-being but also strengthen the fabric of a more compassionate and unified society.

ImpactWorks is a pathway to empowerment and opportunity, equipping individuals with the tools, experiences, and support needed to achieve independence, purpose, and lasting success, while creating economic and social ripple effects that uplift families, businesses, and communities alike.

Futures where careers are possible, leadership is cultivated, and integration is the expectation—not the exception.

Always You is more than a provider—it is a movement. A model. A mirror of what’s possible when systems align and every life is valued.

Why it matters

 Let's talk facts.

In Beaver County, over 800 students have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), while 72% of local residents are not currently in the workforce. The need for change is undeniable—and it can’t wait.

Legacy Week is the spark for that change.

This week is designed to ignite confidence, equip families with new tools, and create a ripple of possibility that spreads throughout the region.

By investing in untapped potential, we lay the foundation for a lasting transformation—one that empowers individuals and reshapes the future.

Legacy Week is the spark that fuels a movement.

When individuals are seen, supported, and empowered to lead, the trajectory of the entire community shifts.

July 14-18 | 10 AM - 4 PM | Community College of Beaver

Legacy Week offers a five-day immersive experience designed to spark personal growth, build confidence, and unlock lasting opportunities for individuals in Beaver County. Hosted at the Community College of Beaver County, this transformative program provides a safe, integrated environment where participants can explore new interests, develop essential life skills, and gain exposure to real-world experiences that empower their future success.

Carefully tailored to each participant’s age, ability, and skill level, Legacy Week combines personalized support with hands-on activities to foster curiosity and career exploration. This program blends self-discovery with practical experiences, offering participants the chance to engage in a vibrant campus environment that will help them gain the skills and confidence they need for long-term success.

Cohort Breakdown: Personalized Support for Every Stage of Life

  • Cohort One (Ages 14–21):
Designed for younger participants, this cohort focuses on self-discovery, communication, and creativity. It empowers individuals to build confidence as they explore life after high school. Through engaging, hands-on activities, participants will explore various career paths, develop essential personal skills, and lay the groundwork for future success.

  • Cohort Two (Ages 22–40):
Tailored for adults seeking personal agency and career exploration, this group provides opportunities for participants to connect with the community and engage in social activities. These experiences are designed to help participants build essential life skills and relationships that will support a more independent, purpose-driven life.

Why Legacy Week Matters: Empowering the Future of Beaver County

Beaver County is home to over 800 students supported by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). However, a significant portion of the population remains disengaged from the workforce. Legacy Week is designed to address this challenge by offering tools, experiences, and connections that open doors to a brighter future for each participant.

By immersing participants in a college campus setting, Legacy Week provides an opportunity to explore career possibilities, build independence, and develop life skills—all within a vibrant, supportive community. This program is a one-of-a-kind experience, offering a safe, creative space where individuals can develop confidence, explore new passions, and build lasting connections for the future.

Daily Highlights: Exploring New Pathways and Building Confidence

  • Career Discovery & Skill Exploration:
Participants will engage in hands-on activities that connect them with real-world career pathways, helping them refine their interests and explore professional opportunities in a meaningful way.
  • Creative Expression & Wellness:
Through guided activities, participants will build leadership and self-advocacy skills while strengthening their personal wellness. This aspect of Legacy Week is designed to increase confidence, improve mental health, and foster well-being.
  • Community Connection & Celebration:
Legacy Week fosters the development of meaningful relationships. Participants will engage in team-building activities and celebrate their achievements during a closing legacy celebration, cementing the personal growth and progress made throughout the week.

A Commitment to Community Impact

Legacy Week is a community-driven initiative aimed at building a future where individuals with disabilities are empowered to live independently and achieve economic mobility. By providing an integrated experience on a college campus, Legacy Week opens doors for participants that would otherwise remain closed, offering them a chance to engage in career exploration, build confidence, and establish lifelong connections.

This is the beginning of something bigger—a transformative opportunity for individuals, families, and the broader Beaver County community. Legacy Week is a springboard for new possibilities, a celebration of each participant’s potential, and an investment in a brighter future.
