Thank you to all who joined us for the official ribbon cutting of Always You. This moment marked our formal integration into the region’s operating framework and affirmed the infrastructure now in place to support this work.
I am most thankful that my parents were there. They have endured ongoing health challenges for years and continue to face them. Their presence and participation in this moment will forever be cherished.
And to my daughter, Avani. This work exists because of you. Your life is the reason Always You was created. I will hold having you there to witness what was built in your name in my heart, always. Always You.
Held on the campus of the Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) and hosted by the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce, the event convened partners from across sectors. Remarks were delivered by Dr. Roger W. Davis, CCBC President, Beaver County Commissioner Jack Manning, Former United States Congressman Conor Lamb, Melissa Lanious, Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit, Jennifer Marino, Flourish Beaver County, and Jessica, an Always You participant. Representatives from the offices of United States Congressman Chris Deluzio and PA State Senator Elder Vogel were also in attendance.
Jessica spoke with clarity and strength, offering a reflection that captured the intent of the work. Her video is included below.
Before the ribbon was cut, the audience rose to join in as Ain’t No Stopping Us Now played. That energy held the room. As I'm Coming Out followed, the ribbon fell, and the guests erupted in cheers.
Always You is now formally operational and positioned to advance outcomes that strengthen student readiness, regional coordination, and workforce integration.
Photos from the evening are included below. Additional images will be posted soon.
We are on the move.
