The inaugural Always You Adventure will bring five participants and five adult chaperones to Martha's Vineyard, where participants  will explore identity and step more fully into adulthood.

The journey begins in Pittsburgh. The group travels together by vehicle toward the coast, and the hours on the road do what they always do: stories start, laughter builds, strangers become friends. The participants watch the landscape change outside their windows, aware that something different waits ahead.

From the mainland, they'll board the ferry. The island will rise slowly from the horizon, drawing closer with each minute on the waves. For generations, families have returned to Martha's Vineyard summer after summer, building legacy and community into its streets and shorelines. The participants will feel that history as they step onto the island, and Oak Bluffs will become their home.

The days will unfold across the town and its landmarks. They'll walk past the gingerbread cottages that have welcomed visitors for more than a century and worship at the Tabernacle with community.  They'll visit Nancy's for lunch, wait in line at Back Door Donuts after dark, and share ice cream as the sun sets. They'll stand at the Inkwell, where water meets sand and history meets the present, bare feet in the surf.

Each evening, when the island grows quiet, the group will gather for the Always You Reflection Circle. Guided by their chaperones, the participants will talk about what surprised them, what opened inside. They'll listen to each other with real attention. Trust will deepen in those moments. They'll begin to name the leaders they're stepping toward.

Living together in a shared home will teach its own lessons. They'll navigate differences and extend grace, practicing the small negotiations that build community. Morning light will spill across breakfast tables. Laughter will rise from the porch in the evening. The friendships that form here will carry forward for years to come.

Five young adults will participate in this inaugural journey to Martha's Vineyard.

These colorful cottages will welcome our participants as they have greeted millions of visitors to Martha's Vineyard for generations. Their presence reflects a long tradition of gathering and shared life that continues to shape the character of Oak Bluffs.

 Your support will put a young leader on that ferry, at that table, in that reflection circle. It will give her Martha's Vineyard as a place to see themselves clearly, as witness to who they are becoming.
