INSIDE THE IMPACTWORKS EXPERIENCE

Grounded in the Always You Pillars of Excellence: Empowerment Through Growth, Authenticity and Connection, and Wellness and Vitality, ImpactWorks supports adults with disabilities in pursuing personal goals and building skills for work, daily life, and community participation.

Leadership, confident communication, and self-advocacy are intentionally taught and practiced throughout the program. Participants learn to express their ideas, ask questions, make choices, share their goals, and speak up for the support they need.

Through the Inspire Cart, Always You Apparel Line, Flourish Kitchen, and community partnerships, participants explore customer service, entrepreneurship, culinary arts, hospitality, and other career pathways. They practice planning, problem-solving, teamwork, follow-through, adapting to change, and taking responsibility while contributing in campus, workplace, and community settings.

Club Always You, Lunch with Leaders, and the Always You Blueprint Podcast give participants additional opportunities to develop leadership, communicate their perspectives, serve their communities, and connect with campus and community leaders.

Building relationships and friendships is also part of the ImpactWorks experience. Participants connect through shared activities and learn to practice trust, mutual respect, boundaries, and communication that helps friendships grow and last. These relationships can strengthen belonging and contribute to quality of life beyond the program.

Together, these experiences are part of the Always You Whole-Life Flourishing™ ecosystem, created to support growth across work, daily life, relationships, and community participation.

Through coordination with the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) and Job Training Beaver County, eligible participants may access paid work-based learning opportunities, subject to program requirements and authorization. These opportunities allow participants to practice skills, contribute, and earn wages.

Experiences are connected to participants’ interests and support plans.

Leadership in Action: Always You at Leadership Beaver County

As part of the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Beaver County program, Always You was invited to share our mission, model, and measurable outcomes with regional leaders. We brought ImpactWorks participants with us because their lived experiences belong at the center of the conversation.

Jonathan opened the presentation by sharing his journey with confidence and clarity. Afterward, Andrew from Hank’s Custard, now a valued employer partner and friend of Always You, offered Jonathan a job.

When young adults have the opportunity to lead and share their strengths, new possibilities can follow.

Arica's Birthday! Celebrating Belonging with Always You

At Always You, every celebration is a chance to affirm identity and connection. For Arica’s birthday, we surprised her with balloons, cake, and a room full of joy. She was joined by peers, CCBC President Dr. Roger W. Davis, and two members of the CCBC Board of Trustees, all there to celebrate her.

This celebration was a reflection of belonging. Our participants are not visitors at CCBC. They are contributors. They build relationships, form community, and take their place with confidence and joy.

The Always You Pillars of Excellence guide how participants grow in school, work, and community life. Grounded in the belief that every young adult has potential, our programs pair high expectations with individualized support. Each pillar focuses on a distinct area of development, with instruction and experiences that help participants build skills, make decisions, take on responsibility, and pursue their goals. Progress is documented through clear, measurable outcomes.

Pillar I: Empowerment Through Growth
Builds personal, financial, and professional strength. Participants gain access to skills, certifications, and entrepreneurial strategies that support independent living and community contribution.

Pillar II: Wellness and Vitality
Supports mental, emotional, and physical health. Individuals and families receive the education and tools needed to sustain resilience, restore balance, and thrive through every stage of life.

Pillar III: Authenticity and Connection
Honors individuality and builds community. This pillar fosters self-expression, meaningful relationships, and a deep sense of belonging in spaces where each person is seen, supported, and celebrated.
